Horizontal-format hoist flags

This is the classical shape of flags. The long side is attached to the flagpole and the short side is blowing in the wind. The length-width ration should be 5:3 or 3:2. The size of the flag depends on the height of the flagpole.

Tip:
The flag is waving in the wind at about one third the length of the pole. The higher the point on which the flag is attached, the more elegant is its appearance.

Serial production:
  • Double safety stitching around all edges.
  • Facing ribbon on the side closer to the flagpole, hanger or plastic snap hook on the upper edge and overlapping polyester cord on the lower edge –ready to be hoisted!

Vertical-format hoist flags

This is the most commonly used advertising flag. The long side is attached to the pole, the short side is blowing in the wind. This flag achieves its full effect even in the slightest breeze.

Tip:
The length of the flag equals about half the length of the flagpole. The higher the point on which the flag is attached, the more elegant is its appearance.

Serial production:
  • Double safety stitching around all edges.
  • Facing ribbons on the side closer to the flagpole. With plastic snap hooks –ready to be hoisted!

Banner

Are ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Banners achieve their full effect even without wind due to a wooden pole which is integrated in the upper edge of the banner. The size of the banner depends on the height of the flagpole.

Tip:  The lower edge of the banner has to be at least 3m above ground.

Serial production:
  • Double safety stitching around all edges.
  • On the upper edge hemstitch seam (made of basic material or facing ribbon) for the wooden pole (diameter up to 30 mm)

For interior decoration the flag has got a trimmed edge. For the ideal appearance additional weight is added to the lower edge of the banner by means of an integrated pole.

Different ways of attachment:
  • Wooden pole with holes drilled in and polyester cord
  • Plastic tube with nylon cord
  • Plastic clip with grommets

Tension bands

Tension bands are the ideal supplement for flag advertisment. They always have a great visual impact –no matter if used for small events, in football stadiums or on streets.

Serial prodution:
  • One layer of fabric
  • Belt webbing on all four edges, metal rings for attachment on the corners
  • If required also comes with a polyester cord for tensioning.

Hanging flags

Hanging flags are attached on the top of the shorter side. The flagpole is attached to a building in a horizontal or slightly tilted position. Hanging flags do not depend on the presence of wind to achieve their full effect.

The size depends on the local conditions.
